Re: Stats Discussion

In the end, a lot of the time getting a title comes down to dumb luck and matchups. That said, I have one, and am allowed to rag on our elite group of dumb luck, matchup happy owners. Suck it.

I would have to agree with that. I think the best regular season GMs would have to be GO, jay and prawn, just because they've always been consistently making smart trades to stay competitive. GO especially, it seems like he has had a completely different team every season but still manages to finish well above the .500 mark.

Don't want to take anything away from Duck or tooeasy, but their success has more to do with one or two big moves (Clifton) or pick (Fisher). Because of this they haven't had to re-tool or take a lot of risks. Still good GMs though.

Re: Stats Discussion

GO is a gangster trader. He seems to get something for nothing once a season. Which is all it really takes.

Lot of good GMs though, more now as people actually have JSB experience now.

A lot of guys have done really well. Brian, your methods may be strange, but you made some deep playoff runs while you were there. I think that's what is so neat about KVBL is all the different strategies teams use to play the games.
