No it was a league called NBA Sim. The old commish is actually trying to start it back up again, but he wants to hand over the commish duties to someone else. It's got a nice little site and message board still up and running if anyone is interested in running it. Lol

It really pisses me off that the thread isn't called 'To whom it may concern' ... Not only did he cheat, but he apologised with bad English. Poor form.

I was thinking the same thing when I read it. It's not like I'm an English perfectionist but that's a pretty basic thing to know. Most people have seen letters addressed "To whom it may concern".

updated, Kings and Thunder are now available.

Thunder are a contending team if they sign half decent pass first PG. Kings are lotto bound rebuilding project. Post here and/or PM KJ if you are interested in joining.

Updated - Nuggets now available instead of the Thunder. Nuggets have Rondo and Iggy as a core. They are like an older version of the Thunder. Probably 5th or 6th best team, definite playoff team but no chance at the title. Partial rebuilding project since they are likely to lose Deng (starting SF) for nothing since their cap situation is bad.

New owner is going to have to trade away old players on expensive contracts for expiring contracts or younger players that are lower quality pretty soon. Or they can try to switch some aging pieces for other aging pieces and try to make a run with different players. Time horizon to contend is probably 1 or 2 seasons max given expensive and old players.

Probably best situation for an experienced owner in JSB leagues who wants to go to playoffs immediately.

Yep, I doubt I'm going to have much luck, since people will be weary of trading with me too. But it's all good, all in good fun.
