u dont exactly have alot of assets to move around outside of your 2 "untouchables"

Tim Henson, Blake Griffin, CJ Strickland, and well over 20 million in expirings is a fair amount of assets if you ask me. People just want what they can't have, and refuse to think about anything else.

The problem is that you're looking to upgrade at positions even better then those players. Outside of maybe CJ Strickland, you don't have the assets necessary to interest anyone to give up a player that is an upgrade over Griffin and Henson. If anyone is trading away a premium starter, it's because they want premium young players and/or picks as well as cap space. You only have the cap space and nothing else. Blake Griffin and Henson might be useful players, but realistically they don't have as much trade value as you think they do.

There are still some things you could probably do with your expirings, but I think you're targetting too high of a player with the assets you currently have.

Simple answer is all your available players you have available are over 30, declining and on bad contracts.

The more complicated answer is that 76ers are clear favorites. None of the Hawks available for trade will give any team an edge over the 76ers. Since none of the players available offer cap flexibility and can't help a team get an edge on the 76ers, there is no reason to trade for them, especially since they are all over 30.

Your only option is to open up Frank Weiland to trade talks if you want to do anything unless you get lucky w a rape trade.

There's a reason why I had no problem with Clipper's trade with the Hawks even though they lost out on talent by a lot two seasons ago. I thought it was fair because they would have been stuck with the same contracts you are now stuck with.

When you have players over 30, you either trade for a downgrade to get younger or you ride it out. Upgrading isn't an option if the same player is being paid a lot unless you get lucky with a rape trade.
