He's being traded. Plus he was a backup. What's not fine is the lack of DC from them. Like Brian before him, he needs to put one up, something more than "everyone active" - something I'm sure will happen after his pending trade goes through.

This wouldn't fly in the NBA, he shouldn't be allowed to be completely inactive. He's getting paid a wage, I'm pretty sure his employers/fans want to see him in some action.

I just think it sets a bad precedent to allow a guy to get a max deal in free agency and then that team is allowed to sit him for 1/4 of the season.

He looks like he could be the perfect foil next to Kilmartin. My team has a much better balance now and I look forward to an improved record.

Guys have been doing this for eons out of courtesy when making a trade. Not a problem before, not a problem now. There are some things that are a bit off due to the sim structure, that's one of 'em, but it's not a huge deal. Not the slightest bit.
