Ofcourse I wouldn't, that's why I sent the offer. But I'm in rebuild mode, I can afford to take the gamble.

Jermaine has a great assist/turnover ratio and nice defensive 1-9's. He's going to be more valuable to a playoff team next year than the 10th pick will be. Again, I have done the scouting, the talent just isn't that deep this year.

And sgain again, let's wait and see who gets taken at the 10 spot, then we'll revisit this (or we can look at the PG taken closest to 10, as that is what your trade block requested).

I just traded away my whole team pretty much. I was only in the playoffs because of the sad state of the Atlantic division.

How is Jermaine Jackson going to help my team? Shit, even if I was close to a championship, he wouldn't be the guy to get me over the hump. He's just an ok bench player. Anything more and you're just inflating your guys value.

I wouldn't say you're in the same rebuild mode as myself and BKN, we're rebuilding through picks. You seem to be trying to piece together useful players to make a run at the playoffs.

And I haven't overstated him. He is a nice backup at the PG spot to come in and keep the ball moving while playing decent defense.

Like I keep saying, we'll wait and see what the 10th pick turns into (and the closest PG taken to that spot). I will hold my hands up and admit I got it wrong, after all, my scouting isn't perfect.

You need him but he's gonna opt out so land him in FA later.

Not that it would surprise anyone but I was offered 7phx for pick 13 last year cuz if course no one good was avail at 13.

I'm not saying anything about other GM's. I'm saying I don't see much obvious value at the 10th pick.

You wanted a PG, I think JJ is adequate in that role, so I sent an offer. Did I try and convince you JJ was anything he wasn't? Nope. My offer was 'Jermaine for the 10th pick?' and that's it.

Who did you take with the 13th pick last year?

Because 7PHX just won a ring with the Hawks while playing 24mpg in the Playoffs. Did the 13th pick do anything close to that?

This is exactly my point. These trades are all relative to the player you end up snagging.

Sim doesn't log All-KVBL/Defense/Rookie Teams in a way that is easy to look up, so I'm not going to include those in the awards thread I added. Just not worth the effort. It has them on individual player files, but that's all. I will add MVP and such, though.

Yeah, they are superstars but they're also 30 and they also will have 15 teams bidding max money for them this year. I'm not in the right situation to snag either one of them.

X has a great contract yes, but that doesn't mean BT has a bad one, like I said, it's declining and it has team options, it isn't scaring anybody off. Not to mention he is one of the very best defensive bigs in the league.

Bryan Tyler is going to have value all season so a couple of low picks from you isn't incentive enough for me to give him up - not when he is 28.
