Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 12 Discussion (Sim #2: Monday @ 5PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
Considering how dominant he is, I've been pretty quiet about him. He's won 5 of the last 5 MVP's, there plenty of room to boast.
The lackluster offers I got for him when he was on the block may be adding to any spite boasting.

He helped me win 2 championships, and has me as the favorite to win my 3rd. I have nothing but love for Caramel (no pun intended).

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 12 Discussion (Sim #2: Monday @ 5PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
Shaun Jacobs played almost 11 full seasons for the Lions/Bobcats (almost 900 games). That's craziness in this league. Completely random, but crazy.
Matechowski was in LA forever, but not that long. Russell's getting there for Washington. Bradford at 623 games in Chicago (Sterling's been there forever to the tune of 671 games, but his role's been greatly diminished over time). Caramel's close to 800 games with Atlanta. Briscoe had 721 in London before the trade to LA. Ray Lee has 818 games played for the Jazz (Perry and Rogic come in at about 660 apiece). Childs at 659 with Seattle. Not sure why that was something I felt like checking just now, but hey. Interesting stuff. Certain players you think of when it comes to teams, but the numbers are still pretty crazy. Just wait until I get Lee/Perry/Rogic/Montgomery to 1000+ all with the Jazz. It'll be beautiful. |

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 12 Discussion (Sim #2: Monday @ 5PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
It'd be easier to track some of this stuff if JSB showed all the teams guys played for during a season (and for how many games), but it doesn't (just the last team they played for each year). More of that looking back retrospective stuff, some of the long time KVBLers who had(/still have) a true presence for KVBL franchises:
NBA Guys Emeka Okafor and Josh Smith were big parts of the Cavs early success, same for Luol Deng in Memphis. Dwight Howard was a mainstay in Chicago and then returned to his true KVBL home in Houston. Andrew Bynum was a Knick for a long time. Durant was a key cog in the Nuggets' best years. Russell Westbrook's been a vagabond since his time with the Clippers. Derrick Rose was big in Houston early. JaVale McGee in Detroit for many years. John Wall has been big in Boston, Philly, and Portland and will be trying to win a championship this year to make it three for three there. Patrick Patterson was a Bull for a long time. Derrick Favors' best years were in Detroit when they had their run of relevance. KVBL Originals Donald Cooper's 3.0 prime was spent in Cleveland. Seven Phoenix has split time between Minnesota, Detroit, and London (Minny being where his greatness shined brightest). Riley Thurman was the Hornets' backbone for years before establishing himself as a Lakers mainstay (great centers moving to LA...madness!). Tony Spence was a Spur longer than anything else, but won his title in Atlanta as Caramel's #2. Spinks was money for the Bucks early on, then part of Seattle's climb out of badness. Raul Figueroa hasn't been heard from in eons, but he was a big part of the Wolves' early success. Leon Porter was in Chicago for years before making his home in St. Louis. Jerry Andrews was in Detroit for a long time but hasn't found a home since then. Howard Dwight began 3.0 in New York, but he's been in Utah (where he belongs) for 7 years now. Gerrod Clifton is a Heat legend, but also had a very strong run in Brooklyn for a few years. Tim Stallings' most relevant years have been his past few in Atlanta. Tim Henson was in Brooklyn for years before establishing himself in Atlanta. Kristopher Karambo's always played best in OKC. Travere Bernard carved his 3.0 legacy in Cleveland before beginning his transient phase. Donte Kane has been Nuggets/Cavs. Alistair Maynard has been Shaq-like in his team hopping. Salvatore Fantastigas, bless him, set up shop in Utah after leaving Orlando, but has since become a key to the Lakers' becoming the three point kings. Ray McAllister will always be a Cavalier, Hawks championship notwithstanding. Andy Cabrera was a key cog in Boston and Philly. Caramel, of course, a Hawk for almost all of the 3.0 years. Chris Walker will be remembered for his years in Chicago. CJ Sampson has managed to stick around in New York and then Houston for a long time (with a Washington stop in between). Antwaan Jack has frequently been a Hawks reserve. Jens was a core piece for the Clippers before moving on to New York. Mancin Tulker will always be a Net just as Young Hi is forever a Raptor. Victor Manning was a big part of the Nuggets' good run. Brian Bedford is the Nets mascot. Aeneas Bailey was an overachieving monster in OKC. Andrew Everett was with the Magic for a long time before his stays in Atlanta and Portland. Benny Jett, the bum, is always going to be remembered for his time with Smath's Heat. Chaz Penninton had a good run with the Lions/Bobcats. Walker Gilchrist was THE guy in Portland for a long time, he's since been part of the SuperSonics' most successful years. Chad Harrell was a Jazz man for over seven seasons before he lost his tune (yeah, that was terrible). Andre Cannon, like Westbrook, is best to be remembered for his Clippers years. That's just guys sitting at 13 years or more in the KVBL. I love this stuff. |

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 12 Discussion (Sim #2: Monday @ 5PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
I feel bad that Louis Sterling had one season where he was inactive the entire time but I still like the fact that I have someone from the original reboot draft on my team after this many seasons

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 12 Discussion (Sim #2: Monday @ 5PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
Jett took a champ with the Wolves and went to the finals with the Warriors , much more important roll in both of those teams then the Heat!
