Lions look great with the addition of Edwin Strauss, I really wanted to vote him for ROY but Lord looks too studly. I don't normally do these so it's probably all off, but I think the Lions and Timberwolves out West are MAJOR sleepers coming into the season. They both have the type of rosters that make noise come playoff time, I actually was flip flopping between Lions and Timberwolves as WC Champ's. No diss to Diss, I think he's got the best team in the West, but I feel like one of those two teams I mentioned above are going to rock the boat this year.

Ha, whiffed on the Clippers. No brainer playoff team, should fight for one of those top three seeds. When did that happen, I thought the Clippers were bad?

Updated my rankings in the original post, Clippers 2nd in new ranks. Lakers get bumped down behind T Wolves as well.

West is strong top to bottom. I mean I've been a playoff team the past 2 seasons (8th and 7th seeds respectively), added a top 5 pick, signed Jens Larsson, and still am not a lock for the playoffs. I think Sharks are a sleeper playoff team out East. Quartet of Stewart/Gordon/Thomas/VL3 is pretty good.

Is he a guy who would be able to be one of the top guys on a championship team? No. Is he a guy who fits with my roster, adding scoring, 3 point shooting, and rebounding off the bench and adds another player with super flexibility on my team I can move around come playoff time? Yes.

Can't tell if you're joking or not, but at this point in Larsson's career it's really a toss-up between those two. Richardson can actually play defense, pass the ball better and probably put up just as many points as Larsson. Larsson can grab more rebounds and play more positions.

Some thoughts:

1. I've been touting the Bulls as a contender. They're there, but after seeing the Hawks up close and personal; I think ATL is the most dangerous team in the East.

2. The Pacific Division is unreal this year. The depth is sick. The winner of that division will certainly be battle tested.

3. There will be a sleeper that makes noise out of the Midwest...I'd say either Spurs or Wolves.

Anyone else notice Freddy Seacrest is AWOL?

He let his RFAs get QF and hasn't updated his block in forever let alone wasn't at draft.

Quietest he's ever been.
