Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 14 Discussion (Sim #2: Tuesday @ 5 PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
That is a pretty shitty offer, all funny anecdotes aside.

That's a Kevin type reply.
Impressive in its depth.

Meh. I always send out offers that generally upgrade my team, then I work that point and always respond to counter offers. I don't get why people get so up in arms about offers they don't like. It's weird to me.

Sending those types of offers though turn people off right away usually.
Start with something logical or a feeler. |

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 14 Discussion (Sim #2: Tuesday @ 5 PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
I generally don't send actual offers, I ask if you like one of my players or I tell you that I like one of your players. Unless there's a clear cut offer to make I don't bother because a good portion of the time I don't really know what people want because trade blocks are mostly useless. Everybody has 4 of their bottom 8 players on the block and they are asking for 1st rounders or an upgrade somewhere, it's 90% dreamer material.
I've noticed some people don't like the inquiries, so if that makes you want to trash it so be it, but it's the easiest way to deal from my perspective.

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 14 Discussion (Sim #2: Tuesday @ 5 PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
BJ..heres the rationale..
being a vet in a lot of sims leagues including baseball, I think theres a LOT of GMs who throw feelers... "what would you like" and at that point theres no starting point and takes more work to even find an offer. There are also the bad offers from GMs who admit its a lowball offer to get the ball rolling... to me thats bad business and usually offends the other GM where its not worth their time to respond because when you do, you get the long written responses about why it wasa good offer in the first place. PLEASE.... we know u wanna rip us off (not nec U but who made the offer) So IMO if you're admittedly lowballing someone at least come with a real offerif you want a response. Whats funny about the gms who are defending this way of going about business is that Id guarantee theyve made less trades .... so going about business with that mentality has IMO made trading with those teams hard to do.

I disagree with this logic big time. Basically every team in the league could improve their chances of winning by making at least one more trade.

i dont feel bad about my response because i asked him over a month ago to leave me alone, to not offer me deals and to ignore each other. the next step is just to block him completly

![]() ![]() PP thats a bad offer I understand the rational behind you thinking he needs a PG , but you have to look at value here , the PG your offering is 35 , and doesn't do anything elite... you actually don't even need wright sense you have akers , so its even more insulting , its purely you trying to rape lol , now if you offerd him your PG + akers for wright that would be a normal offer imo.

Re: KVBL 3.0 Season 14 Discussion (Sim #2: Tuesday @ 5 PM; 11/26 - 12/16)
BJ, that is actually the way I prefer to negotiate. One team sends out a feeler, and then we work from there. But after dealing with you for so many seasons now I know that me and you will never get a trade done.
And Porn that is why I delete your PMs. Because I know that your initial offer is going to be so ridiculous that its going to be extremely difficult just to get to the point where I'm getting fair value. |

Extremely difficult?
Just send a reply with what you consider a fair offer. It's not rocket science.
