Love was just basically on a jsb controlled team (sorry K4L) and they ended up with the 2nd overall pick.

I think it was the worng decsion looking back yes BJ , if you traded caramel for young assets your team could and would (cause your a good GM) have been top 5 in the east right now , instead your team goes from champ to 1 of the worst teams in the league in 1 year , reminds me of the cavs in RL =] if I was you after a few champs I would be playing for 1st winning record/1st franchise score , but with the descsion you made you let creast and myself try and catch up... but again its a gutsy descion to trade caramel I understand that , I would never trade him if he was mine

You still need to put a team around Caramel Love to win... shit, I had Dwight Howard for his best years and routinely got bounced from the playoffs because I was putting zero effort into the team. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss BJ as a GM. Hell, even when you think you have put the team around the right guy you can end up winning 70 games and getting bounced in the playoffs (like my team last year, among others). Obviously a guy like Love puts you in immediate contention, but he's not the only superstar in the league.

BJ made the right and only decision with Caramel. I think we can put GPP in the same level as Blue. he comes once in a season to babble how good he's and how good his team but after it he vanish for the rest of the season when he realizes his team worth shit.
