some quick takes..... teams like Sixers/Twolves/Spurs have newlooks and I'm not crazy about some of the starting pirces til we see how they play...hence my West edit.

East is very deep where anyone from Kings/Raptors/Pistons/Magic/Knicks can get in....

Im down on the knicks til K4L can actually become a presense. Reason being, while its not very likely he gets an injury, when you're not around it doesnt take a lot to wreck your team....on paper that team should be 6ish range for me, but like I said...I wanna see it first.

Sixers/Spurs both trying to figure out their back courts which is why I'm down on them early.... issues will be fixed by seasons end but jostling could drop them in standings til things get addressed.

While Merrimac isn't the best PG for the lions, I like their stability. Losing Jamison Smith hurts the depth, but harper and suggs are interesting role players.

New look blazers are good enough IMO to make the leap into the playoffs in the ravaged west...which is pretty bad this season.

Twolves lost a couple defensive roleplayers and I'm way down on Blackman as a starter. I think twolves will also have to figure out what they have before things work out.

While thunder still look inefficient on offense, the defense actually improved over last year with the addition of GT off the bench and Thunder added some nice low usage efficient defensive bigs and now have a LOT of 3 pt accuracy. Shooting the 3 and also defending it well should really help them despite how unsexy the 2g%s look.

I dont know what to think of Kenny's lakers. Matechowski will add a lot of steals, and the team is ultra low TO, so they should get more chances to score, BUT with an awful low post presense with Garcia's departure I'd almost suggest Kenneth is tanking for this year as he noticeably didnt trade his '29 to the jazz in the chwoski deal. Chwoski will add more defense than Fantas naturally, but fantas was deadly from 3....chowski not so much....so the dropoff from fantas to chowski and the complete loss of garcia leaves a big hole when it comes to scoring. I can easily see this team scoring in the 80's a LOT. Landros will almost HAVE to put up 30+ for them to even be a factor.
