Bridge has some issues IMO.

His post offense is low for a starting PF and he leaves a lot to be desired at the defensive end as well.

IMO Salters is the better player, but he needs to see what Bridge can do, meaning foul rate, efficiency based on ratings, defense etc.

I personally dont see bridge getting starters minutes once Aero sees what he does.

Again, Salters is a LOT better IMO as a starting PF for that team.

I should be lower on these predictions. I'm going to be using the regular season to mess around with my lineup a ton. I want to try to start Travis Owens at SG to see how volume 3PT shooting affects me lineup. I also have thought about starting Albert Hodges or even Felix Bangerter at the two guard spot. Seems kinda dirty after Bulloch's huge season last year and the fact that I won 55 games with him starting there but whatever.

I also might start Bob West at C with Mik at PF and Yoruba coming off the bench.

a good point, namely about scoring, which was why I'm a bit lower on sixers than others.

Suppose if Salty Salterson was to get the backup PF/C nod and Bridge started, he'd get the extra umph despite the defensive issue.

If he does get the bulk of those starters minutes he'll have a nice statline with all the stuff he does.

Asking out of interest, what is your analysis of my backcourt Goulet? I figure Fetters brings some balance to the lineup with Brown and Opoku. He's an outside shooter, good TO rating. I figured with Brown and Opoku's D beside him and their steal ratings as well as Byers D in the post, I could deal with slighy below average D from him.

personally I love opoku at PG as I think he's a matchup nightmare. I'm pretty sure thats why you killed me in our games last season....and mainly the matchup i was looking ahead to in 2nd round when I sent DCs.

Sure he can be slid anywhere and his ast/stl ratings translate everywhere really well but at SF he can be posted up to a degree and doesnt have great RB for a SF, but thats simply my preference...to not have to play him at SF. His statline will be geat anywhere, but I think his 3g will be also be bit of an issue at SF as well. most sfs tend to have better o-d.

Brown at PG is the biggest ??? as you simply dont know what hes gonna do.

When you look at him, the only thing that stands out is his stl rating, and aside from that there are a LOT of other players around that can provide similar 1-9s, better offense and distribution.... I think he's a defensive role player at best.

Fetters is super similar to Corbett who u had last year and I snagged. He's basically the "new fad" in KVBL I believe. I won't nec call it new as there are certain GMs who specifically employ 3pt specialists but there are now a lot more gms on board with this.

X started Sky Johnson and won a title with him raining threes.

KJ has long tried it....Duck has usually won with a guy like Foster in the lineup, and Kenneth..... well he's taken it to the next level. On paper Kennethe's teams look absurdly beatable but hes show that volume 3s at an efficient clip sem to outplay even solid o-ds.

I had ackerman at SF last playoffs and fantas still went off. We negated landros which helped us big time, but we didnt stop the 3 as much as I had hoped....

so back to Fetters.... I'm very interested to see how he plays as I think he will certainly pay dividends with his shooting, ability to get to the line, and adequate defense but he has a bad foul rate as well.

I have no problem with him starting, but I think esp with him being a specialist, a low usage PG who can distribute more is better at PG.

I think if Opoku was at PG and a low usage defensive player was at SF who can rebound, that would be more of an ideal fit for balance.

I had Fetters on my team last season and I really liked what he brought to the table. Granted he only played under 10 minutes, I noticed a difference in my offensive juice once he started playing. I think ideally you'd have wanted to fill your SG spot with a bit more talent, but Fetters is a nice stopgap player until you can upgrade.

the fact that with his 2g% at 47 and he can draw fould and NOT turn it over, he can be put at +2 OI...hes basically gonna give u like 80% of Mitch Hastings on offense with less D.

Im VERY intrested to see what a guy like Heinonen does in full starters minutes for PHX.

If his defense would ever develop hed be insane but offensively hes gonna have a great stat line

I find those kind of players to really help u if they are shooting well and really hurt you when they are shooting bad , like bart higgins back in the day.. Langston killed me last years playoffs , and the year before he was shooting his brains out

I hope that Tom Andrews plays well, that dude can fill up the stat sheet. Should be a double double machine who can also average 2.5 assists and 1.5 blocks. Robert Gartland and Beaux Saunders drastically improved my bench, but nobody knows how the rookies will play until they actually play.

The weaknesses (6 p-d, no p-o) of Bridge you mentioned are the same Landros had in my championship year. He's no Landros because of his weak rebounding and worse 3point shooting but I'm not afraid because of his defense with Weiland on his side.

Salters is too low usage and that's why I need Bridge's offense, like BJ said. The problem is that Salters is PF only and can't back up both, PF and C. But yeah, that's probably not the final version of my DC.
