Oak Hill Academy
The Future of the KVBL
Trevor Hill #4, 6'3", 170 lb, 17, SG/PG, HSJr Shaquille Henderson #21, 6'4", 180 lb, 18, SG, HSJr Jerry Hill #9, 6'8, 200 lb, 15, SF/SG, HSSo Kris Ross #1, 6'10, 220 lb, 14, PF/SF/C, HSFr Emeka Sambo #33, 6'9", 270, 19, C, HSSr Tyler Simmons #8, 5'11", 167 lb, 17, PG, HSSr LeBron Wilson #6, 6'6, 200 lb, 16, SG/SF, HSJr Adrian Wallace #23, 6'4, 189 lb, 15, SG/SF, HSSo Moe Wallace #45, 6'4, 280 lb, 14, PF/SF, HSFr Tyler Akers #32, 7'0, 230 lb, 16, C, HSSo Trevor Hill #4 - 4 star College List: UC-Berkeley, Arizona State, Miami, NC State, Wake Forest Trevor Hill is a talented athletic guard who excels at scoring the basketball, his ability to take his man off the dribble is amazing some compare it to that of HS hoops legend Luis Ortiz. His greatest asset is his defense very few on the high school level can can get by him and thanks to his freakish 7'1" wingspan he is one of the best shot blockers in the country. Sadly this year do to an injury to Tyler Simmons Trevor is being asked to play point guard and struggling and is averaging as many turnovers as assists.* Shaquille Henderson #21 - 3 star College List: Virginia Tech, FIU, UNC-Charlotte, Rice, Ohio Shaquille Henderson is going to be a good college player a knockout shooter that always hits the timely buckets. A decent defender who when focused can play lock down defense but will occasionally gets beat off the dribble. Jerry Hill #9 - 5 star College List: Kentucky, UNC, UCLA, UNLV, Duke Jerry Hill is a PTPer. Even at such a young age Hill has shown the potential to be lockdown defender, someone who refuses to let their man get pass him and gets vehemently upset when it rarely happens. His defensive intensity something does as much harm as it does good, he refuses to give his opponent the necessary space to shoot a jumper sometimes resulting in him committing a foul. On offense Hill does not look to score usually differs to his teammates, but when asked to he can put his head down and drive like a mad man to the basket. Kris Ross #1 - 4 star College List: UNC, Miami, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, FSU Possibly the most talent player on the team Ross is the only freshman to start on this very talented Oak Hill team. An AAU superstar who lead his team the Flo Riders to a National Championship. The college coaches that were in attendance for the National Championship all raved about his play, some even compared him to Pau Gasol and Jens Larsson. A finesse big that rarely plays in the post that prefers to do his damage from the outside and on drives to the basket. Not a good post defender but a great shoot blocker that is tough to beat off the dribble. There are already rumors that several European teams have contacted his Uncle and legal guardian about joining their team. Which is something that may intrigue Kris not only for the money but because it would allow him to apply for the KVBL draft a year earlier then normal do to a rule that forces high school players to spend a year after there graduation in college or overseas. Emeka Sambo #33 - 5 star College List: UNC, Kentucky, UCLA, UCONN, Georgia Tech The best player on this team a Nigerian who recently came over to the states so he could play college basketball. Undersize but elite post defender and rebounder, do to an amazing 7'3” wingspan he blocks anything that comes his way. Sambo is a very limited offensive player that never looks to score. Rumors are that Sambo is leading towards UCLA and spending a year or two there before going to KVBL. Tyler Simmons #8 - 3 star Committed: Virginia Original starting point guard that is likely to be a 4 year college player and not make it to the KVBL. LeBron Wilson #6 - 4 star Committed: Georgia Tech Talented scorer that might have a future in the KVBL. Adrian Wallace #23 - 5 star College List: UNC, Duke, UCLA, Stanford, Notre Dame, Florida Prep phenom. Moe Wallace #45 - N/A College List: N/A Adrian Wallace's overweight, undersize brother that is only on the team because of his brother. Tyler Akers #32 - 3 star Committed: Arizona State Good size a 3 to 4 year player that might make it to the KVBL.

College List: USC, UNC, Virginia Tech, Illnois, Ohio State The top point guard in the nation, a skilled pass first point guard that makes his teammates better. The undersized New York City PG lives on drives to the basket and is a match made in Heaven with Oak Hill's dribble drive offense. After winning back to back state championship at Lincoln High Rivera was heavily recruited by Steve Smith to come to Oak Hill offering him a bigger stage to showcase his talents. Trevor Hill #4 - 5 star Committed: UC-Berkeley Being allow to move back to his natural position Hill has had a fantastic senior season. Hill leads Oak Hill in both scoring and steals thanks to his relentlessness on defense and the way he attacks the basket. Adrian Wallace #23 - 5 star Committed: UNC The # 1 player in the nation regardless of class that recent committed to UNC. Jerry Hill #9 - 5 star College List: Kentucky, UNC, UCLA, UNLV, Duke, Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida, Georgia Tech This year Hill was ask to play the power forward position and has adjusted well to the position, leads the team in rebounding. Tyler Akers #32 - 3 star Committed: Arizona State Average center LeBron Wilson #6 - 4 star Committed: Georgia Tech Dynamic scorer Kris Ross #1 - 3 star College List: Miami, Georgia Tech, FSU Usually growth spurts are viewed by high school players as a blessing but Kris Ross' growth spurt have been more of a curse. The 7 footer has loss a great deal of lateral quickness making him a huge liability on the perimeter. Due to his game being mainly perimeter base Ross has struggled playing the role of the inside presence. Ross has been rebounding poorly, can't score in the post, the only useful trait he has currently is his jump shot resulting in him being benched. Moe Wallace #45 - N/A College List: Norfolk State, North Carolina A&T, Savannah State Decent Rebounder Joe Simmons #13 - 3 star College List: Oklahoma State, Baylor, Wake Forest Big Point Guard Ray Branch #12 - N/A College List: N/A 10th man
