Secreast...
Man, you're better than that. Would be more must-see TV to see you and Brian play. Injuries.Are.Not.An.Excuse.Ever.

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
You haven't had post-season success in so long(wait, ever) so I can see why you cling to some regular season wins.
If you were that good shouldn't you have won the division? |

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
Who's clinging? These wins happened just this season, I was showing them as a prelude to what's going to happen to your bullshit Celtics in around an hour.

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
Brian if we do end up playing in the second round I'd like to propose a trade similar to Goulet and Kenneth's. A second for a first. Any year you want, 30, 31, whatever. Let me know if you're down.

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
Rather do a signature bet or something, I've been taking part in that pick-swap business a little too much. Your teams will be good so it's kind of a medium risk-super low reward type deal for me.

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
How aren't injuries an excuse? That's just what coaches say to keep everybody else focused on the game, but if you're missing one of your best players your probability of winning decreases. That's not an excuse, that's called logic.

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
Why is it that you always come into threads taking everything so serious.
![]() It's pretty obvious to anyone with a brain that those injuries were legitimate reasons for his team not performing 100%. I was just trying to stir the pot a little bit, make things more exciting. Loosen up once in a while.

I got tired of people saying "Oh, you didn't have X player, so it's OK to lose." No, it isn't. Next man up. I lost games without Byers. That's my fault for not being prepared, not an excuse that I was missing a few points and boards.

Re: KVBL3 Podcast
I'll give you my example:
Couple years ago in the playoffs, I played G7 with Shawn Burroughs (street mid-year FA) against Walker Gilchrist. I lost that game big. I don't blame injuries, I blame a bad DC. Higgins/Nielsen had both been out, but that's my fault, not of anyone else. Injuries.aren't.an.excuse.

Having a backup who can produce close to the level of one of your starters is a luxury, not the norm. Anything can happen game to game, which is why I said your probability of winning goes down. Of course there's still a chance you win the game, but it's a pretty transparent theory that the less talent you have on the court the less likely you are to win. @Brian - I'm loosey goosey bro, wasn't even talking to you though.
