With Jennings a 7 isn't ideal but most stretch fours have a lot worse liability and he more than makes up for it.

Defense is just not an issue for my team. I kind of resent that implication with how hard I worked to make sure I kept a balance

Just trying to stay above the water until I can make use of my 13 picks starting the 2026 season. My only prediction before the season started was that I would scrape into the playoffs. When my team clicks offensively, we're going to upset some teams and play above what we're supposed to.

I had one of those moments of self realization today as I was working, driving down the freeway on my way to a relatively important City Council meeting listening to a guy do a podcast about a pretend basketball league through the car speakers... (and it was the Western Conference at that point, which I'm not even in)

I think I achieved a level of nerdiness that I didn't even know existed.

I come face to face with that every time anyone ever asks about this league, after I mention some of the things I do with my time.

Great work, Goulet. Fantastic stuff, I love it. I liked the little bit on the Jazz, although it's always important to remember that I don't run my teams like smart/normal people would. I did give up the Salters/Lee dream and put Damen in at center for sim two, but I love Ray Lee far too much to limit his minutes and the sim hates playing him the minutes he's supposed to get off the bench so he might be back starting at some point.

Hoping this podcast inspires some media article output from others if they've got time. On my agenda tonight is tackling the advanced stats and dealing with any lingering PMs/trades. If I've got extra time I'll see if I can put an article or something else together as well.

Oh, and thanks for the birthday wishes.

we've only scratched the surface here...theres been a LOT of GM interest as far as making guest appearances on the podcast so i wanna come up with a better name than "Meet the GM".... maybe something more like "Meet the Masters" lol...... but in either case adding a face...or voice...to some of the GMs would be a huge enhancement to the league that everyone would prob enjoy....

AND podcasts such as these arent time sensitive as far asbeing relative to actual league happenings.... so they can be ongoing.

I've only listened to the Eastern Conference and the first ten minutes of the Western Conference wrap ups but this is easily one of my favorite things about KVBL. Incredible job, Goulet. Major props to you.

I'm with the crew that is shocked by your voice. Not how I expected you to sound, and you really do have a voice made for radio. Probably a face too.

I was also surprised by the knowledge you dropped there. No offense, but I now respect your view and opinions a lot more after listening to this.

I would also be interested in contributing to this in the future. Perhaps we can have me and Kenneth on together to discuss previous Celtics-Thunder trades.
