In no particular order, here are a few options to consider and why you should consider them. If you feel like I missed somebody, or a reason for somebody, feel free to chime in.
----- Omer - James Russell was the number one piece available on the trade market, and Omer was the guy who was finally able to bring him in. It's the only major change the team made during the season, but it's a rather massive upgrade and may make all the difference come playoff time. ZT/Russell is as formidable duo as we've seen in the KVBL in quite some time, and even though there was a rocky patch right after the trade, the team finished very strong managing to win 62 games.Allrim Zei - Traded for Jude Parker, brought in Trinnan Telfair, and resigned Omar Andrews. Very unique team who's squeezing optimal production out of their team due to the style of basketball they play. Best record in the West, has an MVP candidate on their team, and is probably my favorite to win the title.Aero - Collected assets last season, but during the offseason he really turned those into pieces to help him win now. Brought in Severt, Mikhailov, and Ulysses Black. Mikhailov had a monster season, Black was selected to another All-Star Game, and he just got a career season out of Scotty Clay. Not to mention Bridge is a 6th Man of the Year candidate, which was a somewhat ballsy decision to bench your 3rd overall pick. From a non playoff team to a 51 win playoff team in a stacked conference, certainly a major jump from season to season.GOBJ - Didn't make a major move in terms of the standings, but was able to completely change the outlook of the teams future. At the end of last season my core pieces were Cheikh Senghor, Ulysses Black, and my picks. Now at the end of the season, my core pieces are Harold Kiba, Kobe Danielson, and Harrison Mahoney. Made a big trade during the draft to bring in Harrison Mahoney who is fighting for ROY, brought Kobe (on the sim selected All KVBL 3rd Team) in through RFA, and during the season liquidated some assets to bring in Kiba. I also made two smaller deals involving bench level big men for 1st rounders, one of which was packaged in the Kiba deal.Smath - The reigning champ losses a major piece of his team last season during training camp in Dwight Howard, about as large of an obstacle to overcome as you'll see on opening day. Still managed to bring in Eddie Green and Alex Moncova for big man depth, and in a very tough conference, came out on the other side as a top 4 seed.Kevinblazer

Re: 2029/2030 KVBL Executive of the Year
for me GM of the year dezerves to go to the GM who imrpoved his team his most (record whise) unless some of the top teams GM's did something very speical.
therefore my GM of the year - AllRim.

Roturn should take it. Made the playoffs in the brutal east (also from the central division...) even w/o his best player.

Zei. Made some power moves and that team is a major threat to win and win multiple titles.
Good to see this brought back. FINALLY. Except for those making joke votes. |

Re: 2029/2030 KVBL Executive of the Year
Active on the trade market, made a big splash during the draft, and also nabbed a young stud in RFA who had a breakout season. To go from Senghor/Black and picks as my core to Kiba/Kobe/Mahoney is a pretty massive upgrade in terms of talent and future franchise outlook, it's not all about record improvement IMO. I wouldn't vote for myself, but I don't think it's laughable that I mentioned myself.

Re: 2029/2030 KVBL Executive of the Year
Roturn had a nice little season, but the only noticeable roster moves he made were resigning Hightower in RFA and trading for Mickelbaum. Solid moves, but nothing overly impressive. They went from a fringe playoff team to the 8 seed, so credit is due for making the playoffs, but there wasn't really any major talent upgrade nor record improvement to point at. Probably deserved a mention I guess, so consider this his mention.

Re: 2029/2030 KVBL Executive of the Year
I was wrong about Senghor, at least for the time being. I usually don't buy into the "plays above ratings" stuff but Senghor must have some pretty damn good hidden ratings. Dude is taking heads in Denver.

Re: 2029/2030 KVBL Executive of the Year
I am going with KevinBlazer. So much success even with Pech out. Getting Senghor turned his team around also midseason despite his best player missing half the season.
