Just off the top of my head. I like Ulysses Black a lot more too, and I didn't even list him.

McMillian averaged 3.34 fouls in 19 minutes last year and he's never shot anywhere near his field goal or three point ratings. He's good for 15-20 a night as a catalyst for the 2nd unit, but he's not a top prize in free agency come on.

It's a matter of controlling the foul rate, I think it can be done. He averaged 1.4 per 13 minutes in his first season and 2.5 per 13 in his 2nd. I wouldn't take Travere or Spence over him at this point, probably not even Clifton depending on my team needs.

Spence just won consecutive rings as the 3rd best player on the best team in the league two years straight, and he played very well during the playoff run for me. Can McMillian even average 25 minutes a game? Listen to you talk like :blu: over here with the training camp voodoo talk.

I think he's a really sexy piece to have off of your bench, but if you think he's any more than that I would disagree.

Training camp voodoo talk? Go and look back at Maynard's foul rates when he was with the Nets. He averaged career highs in minutes and significant career lows in fouls per game. Foul rates can be controlled by defensive intensities of the player in question and the players on the court with him.

That's going a bit far I think. Heastie is still an 18-20 ppg player who can live off getting to the line. Remember that a player can miss a shot, get fouled and hit 2 free throws.

And I've also seen your teams make high quality players like Tony Spence and Russell Westbrook look below average. Setting a guy at -2 DI is a detriment to the team, who cares if you get a minute or two more out of him if he's not being aggressive despite having one of the highest steal ratings in the sim.
