Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

figueroa, blair, and hibbert available for expirings and 1st round picks, don't have to be 1sts this year. Smythe might be available for a similar package.

figs is expiring, hibbert has a team option, and blair expires in two seasons, could be good for a contending team. Smythe is still on his rookie deal.

Figueroa has struggled this season as a poor fit on my team with a weak DC, but he's averaging 16.7/3.8/3.8 with 2.1 steals and .457/.913/.375 %s in his career, and he put up similar numbers this past sim.
Blair is still a great rebounder at 83/67, and his 66 stl is still about as good as it gets for a big man
Hibbert's got 58/60 rebounding, 50 block, and 9 p-d
Smythe is really solid all around, 50 block like hibbert, 7/2/7/2 defense, 57/49 2g, 7 p-o, 42/58 rebounding, and only 23 years old

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

I'm looking for draft picks mainly. Everyone could be moved, but Moncova probably would only go if I got a top 2 pick back. Nielsen or Tyler would probably cost at least a top 5 pick. Anyone else (Moray/Owens/Smythe, Blair's huge expiring) could be available for other picks, by themselves or in a package. Picks don't necessarily have to be this year either. I think I have some cap space to take on contracts too, though i'm not sure how much.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Moray, Smythe, Holiday and Owens all available. Would prefer to get future picks for them, would consider other young players, or a combination of the two.

Moncova and Nielsen could be available, but I'd at least want a very good younger player in return for either of them.

Blair expires after this season, I could trade him for a bad contract if I got something good enough in return but I'm planning on just letting him expire.

Neither Tyler is likely to be traded, but that doesn't mean they're untouchable. Would need really talented young players back.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Supreme is available. Ideally I'd trade him for another expiring and a future 1st, but including him, I have over $35 million in expirings (and team options). I could take on a big contract or two, but I'd have to be getting a really good player back.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Moncova and Nielsen could be available. Picks this year or in the future, along with young players are what I'm looking for. don't want just mid-late picks and borderline starters though. Want one or two big pieces rather than a few smaller ones.

Moncova is gone. Osyrus now available (on the Spurs team page). Still looking for youth and picks. I think he has at least one option in his contract.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Still taking offers on Nielsen, by the way. Would be willing to discuss any of my players, really, but for Kong, either Tyler, and the 6th and 7th pick to get involved I would need to get a top 5 pick or a great young player, but would be willing to give 2 or 3 pieces for the right guy.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Osyrus is on the block, looking for youth (at C and maybe PG especially) and/or picks.

Russ Tyler could be moved too. Averaged 7.5 ast before his 6 point ast bump this offseason. Good from 3 too. Just don't need passing as much with Dong at SF. Would consider swapping Tyler for another young starting caliber PG with better defense.

I have cap space and expirings that could take on a bad contract, would need to be getting a young starter or some picks to take the contracts on though.

Sabbiata and Sims are both useful players who could start on some teams (Sabbiata more than Sims), both also expiring. Would trade either for another expiring and a 1st (this year or future). Would also consider young players instead of a pick.

Kamal Nyaba, Jrue Holiday, Travis Owens, and Dexter Smythe can all be had too.

Dong, Kong, and Ortega are virtually untouchable right now.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Shopping Russ Tyler now, he's great from three, and a great passer with a nice turnover rating. Only in his second year, was top 5 in makes players better as a rookie. Only looking to move him because he and Dong do the same things. Not interested in trading him for anyone more than a year or two older than him. Looking for a 1-1 swap or a decent pick or two back. Probably prefer a PG or C who doesn't turn it over too much.

Daniel Ortega could be moved, he's probably out the rest of the year, but he'll still just be in his second year next year. SF/PF with 54 stl and 43 blk, solid defense, rebounding, and ball handling. probably want something similar to what i want for Tyler, but probably would want more for Ortega.

Osyrus available for expirings and picks. (He has a team option at the end of this year if you don't want to keep him)

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Curious what interest there is in Kong Randolph. Averaged 21/10, along with 2.7 blocks and 56% from the field as a 23 year old all star. Would like another great young player in return, position not too important. Might be willing to include Ortega, Tyler, 9, 11, or future picks, might be willing to take bad contracts back for the right guy.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Sweet and #2 are untouchable.
I'm only looking to make trades where I get the best player.
Kong is probably not going to be moved.
Would like to package some of Zev Reuter, DaeSean Clay, Russ Tyler, Ulysses Black, Daniel Ortega, Gamal Elfadel, and #12 for a really good player or two.
Probably won't make any trade until the draft, or until I have a pretty good idea of who I'll get in the draft.

Re: Timberwolves Trade Block

Interested in discussing trades before the draft, may wait until the draft to pull the trigger, probably depends on the trade.
