Re: Trade: Boston and Washington
Sure, my point was that he probably could have gotten Spooner without trading down, since the C's were already indicating they weren't going to pick up the option. This way they don't have to compete in free agency, which may have been their rationale, but I still prefer the move for Boston.

Re: Trade: Boston and Washington
lmao, what a terrible trade for the bullets, got completely raped
could have got spooner for a 2nd 3 years from now considering celtics would have dumped him anyways. This trade is on the same level as Ben's moves back in kvbl 1

Re: Trade: Boston and Washington
Only rationale I can see is that Bullets were going to be unable to match Larsgaard's offers in RFA due to cap situation. Moving down in the draft plus losing some 2022-2023 salary in this deal ensures that they'll be able to match using Bird rights.

Re: Trade: Boston and Washington
Oh, yeah, I don't get it for Washington either. Especially, sending Big Uz too but sounds like he's going back to Dre - which is that deal that made KJ put the rule in

Re: Trade: Boston and Washington
I get salary cutting moves. This move is pretty borderline on whether it's even close to worth it though.
