Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
I hear ya.
I don't think I was winning anything anyways lol Clearly my best bet would have been to wait out any Moncova offers hoping to land a solid pick but that seemed unrealistic so I went with a player I've always liked.

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
Couple things I'll get straight. My team was good with Harvey. But between slightly changing up the right formula, those string of injuries between he and Cloth sent my team reeling all in two sims. I really wanted to keep him and keep Defensive Orgasm together going forward. BUT I had been after Moncova for a long time and to find a legit option upfront - I had to do it. For the now and moving forward. Though, not sure I do it without getting a capable starting SG in Everett and/or not shedding Norris. He got my attention with that. Harvey's shown he can be on winning teams, and work. In fact, did break through with Sixers if you haven't forgotten.
Goulet and I briefly talked about my '24 pick late last yr in a package for Walker and Harvey if it flamed out. But it was just an ace in the hole in case it was disaster if all were healthy. But I made a decision shortly in offseason, I wanted nothing to do with a rebuild for awhile. |

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
Marvel/Cannon
Everett/Paul George Cloth/Keisel Hale/Favors Moncova/Ibaka Lot of talent in that rotation, could do some damage in the weaker Western conference.

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
Like I said, goulet is never a threat bc he is a sure bet to make at least one terrible trade every year. In this case he made two.
All the does recently is get raped by seacreast - Gives Webb for a worthless Dmitry - Gives his 1st next year (guaranteed lotto) for Ozer - Gives potentially two lotto picks for an old and expensive Moncova - Gets a player that is a terrible fit in Moncova which ends up making Blazers pick he gave away worth less. On the other hand, it ensures seacreast have top 5 picks next two years since he gave his own 1sts to celtics in recent trades It's almost downright offensive how badly goulet gets raped by seacreast repeatedly. I used to think goulet was seacreast's multiple account but I guess he's just an imbecile

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
Kenneth relax on the creepy, stalker-ish secreast hate. It's annoying and totally off topic in this thread.
Goulet got raped by Diss here, it's a different story despite having the same punchlines.

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
It's a game Kenneth.
You do however have a way of making a fun game quite less than fun at times. The way you carry yourself is like the epitome of the worst possible ex wife ..... Ever. I ended up complementing you on Garcia trade, but like a classic exwife, that's not enough, it's never enough. May you win an illustrious KVBL title soon so we may put your face on the Mount Rushmore of fake basketball GMing.

I suppose the pick makes up for the inclusion of the vets but in a perfect world I woulda waited and traded off the vets 1 by 1. I do also think Diss wouldn't have waited though and being that I wanted Harvey I caved.

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
Yeah, Diss wins this one by a country mile, though that's probably just because I have an abject dislike for Clarence that persists to this day.

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
I actually agree with kenneth on this one , if not for goulet seacreast WOULD NOT have a good team , stuck with players like ozer and dimitry and no quality picks.
I wouldn't lie... those constant trades between seacreast and goulet are very suspicious as goulet gets raped every time =] but I guss he's just "diffrent" :blue:

Re: Trade: Oklahoma City and Portland
This trade isn't between Goulet and Seacrest, it's between Goulet and Diss. Stay on topic.
