Been after Harper for a while. And I like what Pastner brings to the table starting next to Xerxes.

Huge win for Detroit in terms of value, but secreast gets guys he wants.

Already having a core of GDA-Dong-Cheikh-Xerxes means I don't have many needs. There are some very talented players in this draft, and it's extremely deep, but I felt like my only hole was a center who played good all around defense and forced turnovers without giving up the ball. With Xerxes being PF eligible only it makes it harder. I really wanted a guy like Roderick Phillips but his lack of C eligibility absolutely kills it for me. Pastner is a good fill in and is young and will be able to grow with my other core guys.

Harper is an excellent all around player and eligible at PG/SG/SF. He'll fill a major bench role, and if I can find a good enough big man to move GDA for, can start in his place.

#5 will probably be a better player than what I received in this deal, but it's all about fit for me at this point.
