Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
I like this a lot for Houston's rebuild. Mikhailov is a building block in the right situation, and Houston might be that spot.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
Maybe I'm getting my hopes up too high here but I really think that Mikhailov is gonna be the guy in Houston. I think I can get his % up above 53 %, and will fit in well next to vontaze. The lack of real solid guys at 1/2 is troublesome. If Bart Hart's percentages were each 10% higher we'd be balling, but that's obviously not that case.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
I'd have given Mikhailov the max if his foul rate wasn't so shitty.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
I can't speak for historical performance, but AllRim was playing him at " - " di. I think that's too much. I was playing Dwight mostly at -2 and got him to 34-36 mpg.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
Eh, Mikhailov was at -2 for me a lot.
He's not out of control, but I'd be surprised to see him above 30-32 MPG Maybe a higher foul rate guy alongside him would help. I had him behind Maynard alongside Yoruba, with Harvey in there as well.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
Devin Bishop is overrated. You won't win with him. Shitty FG%, no 3 point shooting at all and plays porous defense.
I like Dmitry.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
Meh, I needed a starting quality pg. Mikhailov was my 6th man but I didn't want to pay him that much. Next offseason will be a big one for me. I have Daniels 20 mil coming off and a probable lotto pick. And I had Mikhailov on the trade block for a couple of weeks received ZERO offers until Duck came along. So me not wanting to pay a pretty sizable contract to guy that comes off the bench played a huge role in me moving him. I really don't think I could have gotten a better deal than this one due to the lack of offers received.
And yes I agree Duck did come out of this deal on the winning side. Although I do like Bishop's high ast numbers, I think he will improve Duke's offensive game.

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
Well.....
Why have Mikhailov come off the bench if you like him. If Collins is gonna come off the books than the youngster is way more important to a youth movement

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
True, But I think you mean Daniels, ya?
I just liked having him off the bench for scoring. And there was no way I liked him enough to pay that contract to him. Flieschmann was killing me as a starting pg. This is a big upgrade to my pg depth as my backup was garbage. Also Salm will do just fine off the bench

Re: Trade: Houston and Memphis
Yeah I see no problem with the trade for AllRim. Bishop is definitely a major upgrade of Fleischmann and like AllRim will be fine as a 3rd big. Even trade for both. I remember when many were chastizing Goulet for the Mikhailov pick.
