Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
Its funny cuz we all know the Pistons will be running an entirely different lineup next season when they're actually trying to win(because he doesn't have his first). Awaywehappened has you all fooled like he doesn't know what he's doing. I think he's trying to prove a point considering that other guy is getting away with the Luis Ortiz show.
If the Pistons stick with Walker next season when he doesn't have his first then I'll truly believe he thinks that's his best shot to win. I highly doubt that happens. He'll somehow "see the light" and put out a real lineup. |

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
You can like Harvey, but I can't like Nick Walker.
I already explained why Nick Walker's defense isn't as detrimental as it is first perceived. I don't want more 40% volume shooters on my team. Walker and Clowney are good players. My lineups have been very very similar to this.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
This is ridiculous. Nick Walker carries my team's offense...
If I didn't have him last year, my team would've been at the very bottom.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
If you continue to start Walker even next season when you don't have your pick, then I'll take back everything I say. But if you all of a sudden realize how bad he is then we all know what was really going on.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
You're suggesting I start two 40% guys next to each other who will take up 3/4's of my shots?

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
Personally I wouldn't touch Walker with a ten foot pole. He's not my kind of player. If he was on my team, it would strictly be for him to be a gunner off the bench. Time to throw my favorite stat at you. 60.34% is Nick Walker's true shooting percentage and if I'm not mistaken he's top 5 or close to it for APER among PGs in the league. His defense is garbage though and it certainly does balance out with the offense. He's an oddball player who is on the opposite end of the spectrum from Clarence Harvey. And furthermore, he's only 2.5 games out of the eighth seed with Nick Walker starting.

My god, this is ridiculous. I know my own team the best, let me run it.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
If you look at the opposing PG stats/PER and average it all together, Nick Walker> opposition.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit
You guys are pretty ridiculous. If he really is trying to win, then let him fail and make realize his own mistakes. smh...
