Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Poor seacreast, his whole strategy is based off of raping new owners so he probably thought any deal he did w Pistons would be a win for him.

Unfortunately, he got destroyed in this trade. Pistons are going to the playoffs and all the players he got back are worthless. seacreast is moving towards the same level of GMing as allrim

Great trade for nooby, all he needs now is a SF which he can get with his draft pick this year.

Surprised Celtics got only 1 pick out of this deal. Other than that, we know Dong had a ratings-changing injury already. No real winner here.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Pistons win this IMO but seems like a lot to give up for a guy coming off the bench only slated to play 18 MPG

Really NoobyBooby?

You gonna tank like that? Clifton as your THIRD PG

Starting that horrific defensive moron at SF.

Clearly this team should be Clifton/Dong/Philips/Franco/Mulroney with the others off the bench but instead for "basketball reasons" we see this shit lineup to improve the '27 pick.

Lame.

Win something booby. Quit with the tanking.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Dong is 27 and regressing. Hes not playing efficiently anymore since that injury. I'd rather just pick up a couple of young pieces in Bulloch and Michaels and a first then risk him taking more of a hit this offseason and becoming untradeable.

Nooby clearly wins the deal right now but I believe Bulloch is a pretty solid two guard and that pick could be a decent one next year.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Dong is 28 actually, which is even worse. Though you're right in saying this is the best time to trade him. He's one or two bad regressions away from having shit 1-9's.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Exactly. It might not have been maximum value but with my current time constraints and the deadline looming I just wanted to move him already. I probably could've held out for a better deal but I just want to completely retool this team now instead of waiting for the off season.

Who gives a crap if he's not even starting in Detroit.

Pistons must be LOADED to have this guy and Clifton coming off the bench.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Nick Walker is winning me all my games. When he does well, I do. Clowney is the young passing PG I need next to him. These are two player I'm keeping for the future. It's that simple.

Re: Trade: Boston and Detroit

Nick walker starting at PG will keep u in the lottery for years to come with his matador defense. 28 pick will undoubtedly be lotto with that rationale.

You haven't even tried Clifton alongside clowney

You're just accumulating starters but refusing to play them while continuing to tank.

IMO if a vet GM ran out your current DC itd be quite controversial

I could see your argument for Clifton a few seasons ago, but he's not the same Clifton that once dominated position in this league.
