Re: Trade: Boston and Houston
Great, Xerxes might have been the best player in the entire playoffs period.
I'm not holding it against Jude that your team was more talented than the Rockets, but I am giving credit where credit is due to Xerxes for his team overachieving. They lost to the Clippers in the WCF, and you lost to the Clippers in the Finals. I think where the Rockets finished their season was more impressive than where the Celtics finished the season because of the difference in talent on those teams. I mean look at what Xerxes is doing right now, scoring 27.7 ppg on 59.2% from the field, 11.4 rebounds, 2.56 assists, 1.38 steals, and 1.29 blocks in 35.8 minutes per game. Those are INSANE numbers, supposing he keeps up this level of play he will be my vote for MVP. He's got that Rockets team fighting for a playoff spot and look at the rest of the roster. Tony Spence is probably the second best player on that team and he's shooting under 40% from the field and under 30% from the three. He's starting the corpse of Tony Lowell! That might be the worst team in the league if Xerxes wasn't murdering everybody. Like I said, Jude is better than I initially gave him credit for (seems to play above his ratings, and has also had some decent progressions since then)...but I stand by what I said.
