I made the trade because I got back a 25 year old wing player who should be a pretty good fit along with the best player on my team, and also is valued highly by many GM's through the league thus giving me a valuable asset going forward.

You talk about not reading what's being written, yet you clearly missed the entire point of what I was saying. Ty Williams has value as a player, and a 21 million dollar expiring has value. Combining those two things helps mask the fact Ty is overpaid. If you look at this with a full perspective 21 million is, I believe, almost exactly what he was getting paid last season.

You're acting like him as an asset has negative value, and that's flat out wrong. If you think him having value (from the perspective of both parties involved in this trade he clearly does) means I got raped, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but it's wrong. Ty Will is a quality player who is overpaid on a short contract, stop acting like this is Leon Porter and I had to pay somebody to pawn him off.

Smath is clearly bitter BJ took Memphis deal instead for Weiland.

It's truly silly for anyone to give crap to someone when they feel their offer was better because they are unsure of how valuable their picks may be.

The other owner getting those picks has a much better idea IMO of how they value them as opposed to how the team making the offer feels.

Like my picks with Brian and Kenneth. They LOVE my picks. They sandwich them in their cuddle fests. So those guys are always gonna prefer my picks over someone else's.

Regardless of the unknown regarding Smaths picks... I'm pretty sure his rep speaks for itself and that's why his picks have less value.

It might simply be a stereotype and not entirely accurate but that's the belief in this case.

Clippers aren't guaranteed to be in playoffs and hawks get senghor.

To me that's a better roll of the dice than future heat picks.

nah I couldn't take on Ty will contract like memphisx did , had no shot at weiland from the first place , whenever BJ admits it or not , it was a factor in his decsion to say yes to this trade.
