Jude Parker is one of the most versatile guys in the league, and provides a chunk of things I really didn't have before. Jukka, due to also only really being able to be played, wasn't terribly playable with Jude starting, so losing him doesn't sting too much.

I think aside from the scoring/free throw boost that Jude gives me, the team in general should get more efficient (once I figure out who's playing PG, having a PG and Jude gives me great passing), and the overall team rebounding should be absolutely insane.

We'll have to see how the rest of the offseason pans out, but I think this trade makes a ton of sense in the short and long term. It stings a little more after seeing the progressions Sandow got (+5 2G%!), but I'd do the trade again and again.

As an aside, I think the only reason Sandow has been dealt 3 times now isn't because nobody likes him, it's because EVERYBODY likes him. Any time I asked on a player the immediate response was Sandow.

Sandow is better than Jude right now and younger. Maybe is Jude was a super 3pt shooter, good defender or even a good defensive playmaker. Jude cannot handle a bad offseason of regressions.

I would agree if Jude didn't consistently play way above his ratings.

Also something fun:
Jude: 30/73 reb, Spaceman: 72/83 reb, Grice: 92/71 reb, (maybe) Omar: 108/83 reb

My team plays pretty solid defense, scores fairly efficiently, and should absolutely kill in rebounds. One thing that the team was missing was someone who can get to the free throw line effectively, and Jude finally fills that gap.

Again, it's not that I don't love Sandow, I hated getting rid of him, but my pick next year should (in theory) be meh anyway, and this plugs a lot of holes that Sandow's game just didn't cover. I should be able to wring a good 22-7-7 out of Jude, and that's more than enough for me.
