Re: Trade: Chicago and San Antonio
I figured people would be puzzled by this one. Adrian Wallace resurrection project. In my experience the guys who have taken huge 2g% hits are typically capable of playing above their 2g% and Wallace has some unique attributes that make him useful to me (mostly his ability to get to the line and hit free throws). His career TS% isn't that bad. I will be right up against the hard cap for the foreseeable future and my 1st next year is a guaranteed contract that I'd rather not deal with. Ted Brooks was never going to play for me, he's just a warm body.
If I continue to struggle in sims and my pick ends up being decent then obviously it was stupid... if not, I'm rolling the dice with low risk from what I can tell. Hell, maybe I'll start Wallace between Dautzenberg and Scates and see what it does for his efficiency.
