Re: Trade: Boston and Oklahoma City
when I confirmed this trade I stated... "let the trolling begin"
even though those picks might BOTH be lotto the more I looked at acquiring Cloth the more it made sense as giving me the perfect defensive fit alongside my efficient bigs and Grubbs/Mizell.

Re: Trade: Boston and Oklahoma City
depends....how far down do spurs fall? Do the lions now fall too and we have a scenario like last year where Utah AND LAL slide in?
Is kenneth content handing SEACREST a lotto pick or does he ALSO attempt to mortgage his future to screw that pick... it's all relative BUT IMO I think we can make some noise now in the West.... Cloth will matchup on Jude/Mac Moore/Heinonen quite nicely..... AND IMO Cloth will still have future value if all else fails.... maybe just like in Beantown cloth lasts 2-3 sims in OKC...lol.... but in all honesty I think he stays. I didnt really wanna lose Dumile/Hastings but Hastings has fallen off, wasnt gonna sign him to his lofty price tag (almost more than Cloth lol) and Creast liked Dumile so it works as I didnt need him anymore.

I agree with Brian...

Re: Trade: Boston and Oklahoma City
BTW to rationalize giving up this much I did this...
I got the Jazz for Maynard...and we all know how I got the Lakers pick...so getting Cloth in essense for Maynard was nice. If Lakers suck and hand BOS a top 3 pick...well that sucks.... but is equally awesome at the same time. UTA was the one pick I really wanted to hold bu there was pretty much no chance I was getting Cloth w/o it.

Ill make playoffs for sure.... so just matching up is the big one.... But when u say assets, you're still discounting the fact that I can trade CLOTH if it doesnt work this year...hes not gonna fall off the face of the earth.... this all assumes he stays healthy lol.

Re: Trade: Boston and Oklahoma City
Why the hell are your teams always so rag-tag.
![]() I can never approve of them. EDIT: Actually, your current team isn't as rag-tag as your previous playoff teams. Still tho. |

Re: Trade: Boston and Oklahoma City
Cloth is aging well. He hasn't had a big drop. His offense still steady enough and it's what he's lost more on but his 1-9's on D only went down once and that was PD. His blk and stls have gone down but 55 they're still higher than most. Plus, if anything he still has a huge role as a defensive specialist.
I miss him ![]() Love it for both teams though. |

You have Barry Wagner shooting 46%? as a team we are already as efficient as the Nets...just needed a better defensive piece. Cloth is just a little bit of an upgrade there. How is this lineup NOT finally well put together? Cloth is the perfect fit with other pieces.
