Looks like a bunch of rumor have now appeared suggesting that the Clippers might make a move for Tmac.

The link says that the Clippers would trade the #2, Maggette, and then a person like Predrag Drobnjak, Melvin Ely and Chris Wilcox. It seems like we are giving up a lot of potential of Tmac. I personally I am not sure about it. Couldn't Tmac just leave the Clippers after one year? and if this is so then the trade will be worthless just like the Andre Miller deal the Clippers did a while back. Also comes into the play is that Tmac if I recall correctly has never played a full season and like the article suggests he doesn't like to practice, so the commitment might not be there.

The article continues to suggest that Drob will be picked up by the Bobcats in the Expansion Draft.

Trading that much for T-Mac is nuts. T-Mac is one of the few superstars I wouldn't want playing for the Clippers, for numerous reasons, his price-tag being just one of them. It seems more and more obvious that Kobe is just using the Clipps as a bargaining chip against the Lakers, so the Clipps should be looking elsewhere.
