No Coach K in LA mean Kobe in the L-A-C?

With Coach K turning down the Lakers job does this mean that Kobe might go to LA? Personally, with Kobe not being able to get Coach K from DUKE, why not go to the Clippers with Duke players Brand and Maggette and Livingston, who was going to go there. Sounds like a match. Money is not the issue, but I could see Kobe running better with the young guns than stuck in the Triangle and 3 offense with 50 year olds Malone and Payton....if they return....even if they dont, they wont be runin with slava and brian cook...........sounds like Kobe to the CLippers is becoming VERY real....any thoughts?

Not to be a dick, but there is no more Triangle offense. If kobe stays in LA he will be able to do whatever he wants.

I think Kobe staying in Lakerland comes down to who they get in the Shaq trade, its the only scenario that makes sense. The lakers have told Kobe they will do whatever he wants. He wanted coach K they tried to get him, he didnt want Shaq and Phil and they are on the way out.

Money is not the focal point, because the Suns offered him a max deal and he turned it down, plus the Lakers can offer him more money then any team. He wants to stay in LA and its obvious who the Lakers get in return for Shaq, will make or break the deal with the Clippers.

Well ultimately I think Kobe will decide this week after he meets with us.

Neither side has all summer to wait and see what the Lakers can get for Shaq.

Not getting Coach K on board has definitely increased our chances of getting him.
