Divac?
I have been hearing rumors that Divac is interested in moving to L.A. and wouldn't mind coming to the Clippers for a reasonable amount of money. I think Divac wants to come to L.A. and likes that the Clippers have Jaric. Even though it has been said that he wants to resign again with the Kings that the Clippers could also be a choice for him. I know some of you want a veteran center, is Divac a good fit for the Clippers?

I think he could be a good fit at a resonable fit. I dont know why he would want to do it though. Doesnt he want to win a championship?

Why not? Divac may be old but he still has good center skills and has valuable experience which he can spread to Kaman.

Id pay 5 mil for him, but im not sure sterling will. It would be hard to justify 5 mil for someone whos not going to have much production.
But he would be a great tutor for kaman. They have similar bodies...i think kamans offensive and rebounding is decent, but he would learn a lot from divac's passing.

Vlade is definitely worth 5mill for next season when you consider what the piece of crap Okur got and what Foyle got.
They are younger, but their play on the court isnt any better than Vlade.
But, for the Clippers, the experience Vlade brings is a must that we have to add to this team. Whether its Vlade or not, we need someone with playoff experience. Vlade is perfect because he can help mold the young Kaman into what Vlade was in his prime, and that would be a fantastic plus for this organization. The ability to contribute for 15-20 minutes is only an added plus.
We would still have the money freed up again next year. You might as well spend the money every year if you have it. You dont have to blow it on long term deals(like Utah just did with Okur), but if you sign him to a one year deal, its worthwhile IMO.

Divac wants to stay in sacramento but if he gets a better offer somewhere eles he is willing to move personaly i would love to have vlade back in sac town i think hes a quality veteran player that has maybe 2-3 years left  |

With shaq going to miami, i have a feeling the lakers are going to make a stronger run at divac than the clippers will

Vlade is a comedian. He had better days. I'd like to have Marcus Camby in Clips uniform though, I think he's underated.
