'clip', you may appreciate this ESPN article ...
Pretty much discusses Kandi's arguing w/Gentry re: his touches and other fans arguing that they want Kandi GONE.

Interesting link! But you do know that if you posted a link to any of our editorials or posts at fan home you would be banned from there. No warning. Just thought i would tell you that.

The most ridiculous post in the basketball history is " Kandi is the 2nd best center in the league" ESPN.com
kandi last 11 games:
38 minutes, 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, FG 43.5%
If Kandi plays 19 minutes,
6.3 points, 3.9 rebounds
Is Kandi the 2nd best Center?

Yes, I agree truebluefan, but we are not petty, juvenile, or insecure like that particular web site...we freely allow links to other sports bulletin board web sites and encourage them, especially when linking to an interesting article.
Besides, they need all the traffic they can get, since they downsized from a thriving sports community to an afterthought on TheInsiders.com!

I meant no harm. Didn't know how to capture the entire discussion without doing it that way. If you didn't do it, I will delete the link.
PS: I'm not a member there, but periodically scan their discussions re: the Clippers since the Clipper board here lacks member participation, at least on topics I wish to discuss.

D.R. I was not jumping on to you. Just showing how ironic it was that you post a fanhome post here while fanhome bans EVERYONE who does the same with our url over their. I posted a link or two a day, after they changed over to the insiders. All i did was post editorial links. Innocent enough. Did not say come on over here and quit fanhome blah blah. To make a long story short i was banned. No warning. Some others have been banned also.
Our url is banned at realgm. Against their policy. Yet others are allowed.
What Ron said is the way we have always ran things here. If the link is good and educational, then why keep our members from further education? These other two web sites are picking and choosing what you are to read and not read.
As long as one doesnt litter the board with tons of posts, which by the way is against our policy we have no objection to what you did. You never did anything wrong.
Now that being said, in defense of fanhome and realgm. Its their site. It is not up to us on how they run theirs. As it is not up to them how we run ours. If they want to pick and choose what you are and are not to read and you are a poster there, its their right! One could however miss out on good commentaries if one did not know about them.
This is also not intended in anyway to change anyones opinion of those two sports web sites. They have many loyal posters. But what i stated is true about both and what i said is true of our site.
Well enough of the rant. Back to the topic of the thread.

Here's the link again...

D.R., it's cool to link to other sites...as long as the story is educational and entertaining to our members; we don't have a problem with that.
We are only slightly concerned and amused that they cannot even acknowledge our site, and it's no big deal since they are no longer a force to be reckoned with in the sports bulletin board community.
Again, we are not petty and insecure like they are. We don't have a problem with our members going there to become members...share and share alike. Small-mindedness in such issues persists at FanHome, even though their basketball forum is even smaller than ours is now. Amazing. (pity smilie)

Thanks trueblue and Ron.
I appreciate your explanations and observations of what is happening there. I never could quite understand what was going on with that community, which is why I didn't follow them from the old site. It sure does help my psyche to know it wasn't just my imagination or that I was thin-skinned.
I like and agree with your philosophy, hell ... it's only basketball. Find a discussion and jump in ... right? But like you all said, it's their forum.

Thanks for the link Dynasty, good read. Those clip posters sound very knowledgable, ......if only we could get them to this site. . I've been asking for Kandi to leave even before the season, I already knew about his non existant passion for the game.
