Mikki Moore
I had never seen this guy play before, but because of the NHL lockout and the increased NBA television coverage of networks here in Canada, I have been able to watch the Clippers/Rockets and the Clippers/Suns games(on top of the Raptors' games against you) and have been really impressed by the guy.
He is becoming one of my favourite players with his energy, athleticism and length blocking shots, ability to get to the line (and making them), and blocking people out when rebounding. I wish we had him on the Raptors. He seems to be a rich man's Loren Woods. If he continues like this I plan to pick him up for my fantasy team too.
So I just wanted to give some props out to him, and to say that you have an interesting team to watch with Jaric, Livingston, Maggette, Simmons, Wilcox, Brand and him. I have been as interested watching those games as some Raptors games this year.

I really started to like Mikki. Every time he dunks the ball he shows great passion and energy. He got a technical for it once taunting after a monster dunk, which I liked because even though he isn't one of the best players he plays to be like them. I think we got him for another year, which is great. A good pickup for the Clips.

Moore is a great pick up for the Clipps, but I wouldnt put him on my fantasy team. Because when Kaman gets back he will see little playing time, depending on how fast Kaman gets back into the starting lineup.

With Wilcox averaging 17 and 8, Kaman won't sniff the starting lineup.

But its good to know that if Wilcox, or Kamen falter, we have adequate back up. But, I wonder, will he continue to play as well without Livingston to set him up? Those 2 worked good together

wilcox has been great, but eventually kaman will be the starter. Kaman can do 17 and 8 just as easily plus hes more of a true center. wilcox should come off the bench to back Elton brand.

Laughable.
You don't bench Wilcox until Wilcox stops playing well. That's how you lose games. You don't bench the hot guy for a true center in Kaman. Kaman putting up 17 and 8 coming off an injury? LOL.

Yeah, you gotta ease Kaman into the lineup and keep going with what works.
As far as Mikki Moore goes, its amazing he hasn't been able to stay with one team, especially with the lack of decent seven footers in the league. He is probably one of the best backup centers in the league. You're doing okay when Kaman and Moore are your 3rd and 4th best post players.
Clippers are going to have a hell of a frontcourt once Kaman returns healthy.

He didnt say on Thanksgiving Day Kaman will take over the starting Center position. He said eventually, that could be a week to a month. But I do agree that we need Kaman back in the starting line up. Because Kaman brings a defense of presence in the paint. Wilcox is not going to be able to guard the big men in the league as well as Kaman can. Then you might say "Well Wilcox can score more points." Well whats that help when you give up points on the defensive side of the court? Until Kaman gets back Elton will have to guard the big guys like Shaq, Yao, etc. But the bad thing about that is Elton is going to get into early foul trouble, and that is something we cannot let happen.

I'm telling you right now...
Kaman will not sniff the starting lineup.
With Wilcox producing the way he is and the team playing the way it is, there's nothing that warrants making that change.
Kaman started 61 of 82 games last year and put up 6 and 4 or something like that, Wilcox is in his 2nd straight year of ballin his *** off, and is at 16 and 8 right now, he's not sitting until those #s drastically drop.
I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

Hello!!! Well something in the starting line needs to change VERY SOON!!. Because we just lost three straight games. So stop saying we need to keep Wilcox in the starting line up because the team has been playing so well. Because that is not the case. If the Clips keep doing what they are doing we are just going to keep loosing games.

I predict kaman will start at least 15-20 games this season, especially against the teams that have a more big body center. Also, with the play of moore, the clippers should consider giving wilcox and kaman minutes together on the floor when brand is out...playing wilcox more at the 4. Moore has been a great backup center, but when playing backup PF, he hasnt played as well since hes never really played that position is his career.
