Was KANDI Being Showcased ....
It crossed my mind that maybe, Kandi was being showcased to San Antonio.
I thought the timing for him to come off IR at this time was suspicious, and even more so when it was obvious his timing was not lost. (You see, I believed he was benched for his attitude and not his knee.)
He didn't help the team, IMO (I never thought he would), but he got his points. This was an opportunity for SA management to get a good look at him while on the floor with Duncan to determine if there was any chance for them to work together, and also for Duncan to prove that Kandi is no threat to "his" free agency. I hope it works out for Kandi in San Antonio ... I want him gone from the Clippers.
I couldn't see the came here in LA, so don't really know how Kandi LOOKED on the floor or if the game plan was changed to accommodate him.
Just my thought ... your comments?
