Even though hes not completely consistent, i would like to see simmons on the team next year...if you average over 12 points in this league, youre valuable enough to keep for sure. Question is, how much will simmons cost? I dont see the clippers giving him derek fisher money even though hes 10 times as good as fisher. What other players got contracts last year who had similar years as simmons is having?

I read in SI that simmons said he would like to stay with the clippers, so maybe he would take a LITTLE LESS than market value, but how much is that? 5 years, 25 million?

I can definitely see Simmons get Brian Cardinal money next year. And that might be a bargain, if he plays (and improves) like he's playing now.

IMO Simmons is gonna be the MIP, so he's gonna cost a lot!!!

Simmons will get a MLE, he's having a similar performance to what Marquis Daniels did last year for Dallas and keep in mind Marquis did that for a playoff team in his rookie year.

This is a nice year for Simmons, but let's get serious, you're not going to have to pay anymore than MLE money for Simmons and if you did you'd be stupid.
