Livingston continues to progress
LOS ANGELES – From the way Shaun [Livingston was making jumpshots Thursday, observers might have assumed the Clippers rookie point guard merely was putting in a little extra work after practice.]
"Shaun's doing well,'' Powell said. "He's still on track, but at the same time, we're taking conservative measures in regards to his progression.''
[The initial prognosis was that Livingston would be out for a minimum of eight weeks, which would put his return at mid-to-late January. But Coach Mike Dunleavy said Thursday that adhering to the conservative approach for Livingston, 19, would put his return shortly before the Feb. 18-20 All-Star break and only after Livingston has had several full practice sessions.]
