Okafor

Now that it turns out the charlotte;s pick they got form the clippers turned out to be okafor, who has turned into a double double machine, is there anyone out there who wishes the clippers would have kept the pick? Personally, I dont see how he could have fit into the team, unless they went with a small lineup some nights, and did NOT pick up moore and rebraca somehow. However, in retrospec, i think the clippers could have and should have gotten more than livingston and chalmers for okafor.

I would have liked to see the clippers get a second first round pick along with livingston at the least. Maybe i guess what makes it more sour is what a bust chalmers has turned out to be . If they would have gotten Jin or ariza, it wouldnt have been so bad.

If they wanted an undersized, inexperienced point guard who cant shoot well, the clippers should have gotten yuta tabuse instead. At least he would have sold HEAPS of tickets, being the first japanese in the league.

Anyway, clippers have the worst of luck in drafts sometimes. They had the number one pick one year after david robinson, one year after tim duncan, and got manning and olowokandi instead. CLippers passed on kobe bryant, amare staudemire. And this year, they could have gotten the PF for the next 10 years....problem is that is the position their franchise player already plays.

Now watch, they are going to get in the lottery this year, meaning they keep the pick, and get someone who probably would have been the 25th pick in any of the recent drafts since the 05 draft is so poor, then next year, they have to give up their pick no matter what, and it will turn out to be a great player.
