YOu had said that rookies is about improving and getting better. I agree that that happenes, so i pointed out that with livingston, you could see him improving. With Ross, you can see him improving, especially with his shot. But with chalmers, there is 0 improvement.
Chalmers assist to TO ratio is good, but not great considering that he does not do many of each. His assists per 48 minutes is 6.9. Not that wonderful for a PG. In comparison, brunson, who many on here do not like, has an assist per 48 minutes of over 10. Its not good, when the only positive you have about you is averaging 1.8 assists opposed to .5 TO's. That number also does not keep in mind that every time he misses a layup and gives the other team the ball, thats almost worse than a turnover, since the other guys on the cilppers 9 out of 10 times would have made that shot....if the other teams makes a basket off of the rebound, thats a 4 point swing every time that happens.
Again, it doesnt matter where he was picked in the draft. If you cant play, unless you have a huge contract, youre going to be cut. Look at skita. He had a big contract, but never panned out, so they are keeping him until the first possible chance they can get rid of him...not even picking up his option for next year.
He accomplished a lot in college, and is to be commenede for making the NBA. But he doesnt belong in the leauge at this point. HEs just not good enough. At the very least, he does not belong on the clippers. Once the clippers get their players back, they have 4 players who can play PG who are all MUCH better than him.
