Cool. A lot better than goldwire IMO. I remember him when he was with the clippers. He will probably get two 10 day contracts, until someone comes back...when that happens, if he does decent, id like to see him kept perhaps with chalmers dumped.

i rather play chalmers, he is a really quick, fast guy with the ball, and is an excellent passer. he is also a really good on-ball defender. why cant they give him a chance

Thanks for letting us know you haven't seen any Clipper games where Chalmers has played.

chalmers is the most consistent player on the clippers. Only thing is, he is consistent at missing layups, shooting 25% each game, and making bad decisisons.

By the way, martin did have some minutes tonight. 2 assists, 1 TO. With some practices under his belt look for him to perhaps start getting some time before chalmers.
And ill say it again, livingston is going to have a hard time getting PT at PG when he comes back ahead of brunson. 14 assists and 4 steals tonight for the clippers 3rd stringer.

how do you get on chalmers case???? the dude plays hard.... brings it to the hoop hard..... i like how he challenges everyone and goes up for the dunk on people, even though it doesn't go in. His game isn't very solid yet - but for a rookie he has a nice energy spark when he enters. He can create his own shot better than most guys on the team - yeah it doesn't fall, which i think will change, he has a nice looking shot and repeatable release - if it doesn't, he will be out of the league. It is amazing if you guys don't think he is getting better? Have you noticed his penetration skills? Last nights game he played well - only mistake was trying to force a pass in the post - but he was trying to make something happen.... I will take an agreesive mistake from a rook. He isn't a good player yet - but damn you can see potential..... and improvement..... wait?? isn't that what most rookies are about? Give him a break, he was a 2ND round pick. You can make these judgements by watching his first 50 minutes of NBA action?

How do we get on chalmers case? Let me name SOME of the reasons.
1. He has played in 13 games, and his shooting percentage is 25%.
2. His free throw percentage? You guessed it: 25%.
3. Three point percentage? Lucky if he got it to 25%, its 22%.
4. Has missed at least 8 layups or dunks this year, including a wide open fast break where he was packed by a 5 foot 5, 130 pound player who averages 2 blocks PER YEAR.

Key part there: "It doesnt go in."

He is NOT getting better. All his percentages are going down even more lately,a nd he still misses his shots within 2 feet from the basket. Even with livingston...you could see vast improvement gam,e by game.
I dont see any potential with him, because there is no improvement. HIs game is suited for college...maybe one of the minor leagues.

No such thing as breaks in the NBA. You can play or you cant play. Its not like brunson is cut slack because he is a minimum wage journeyman. If you cant play you will get cut. Penny was terrible and was cut after 2 games. The only reason chalmers hasnt been cut yet is because they have no depth at PG now, plus sterling never likes paying people who dont play. Didnt they sue keith closs because of his weight or something?

You are comparing him to livingston?? Thats like apples and oranges..... I am saying the dude could be a quality backup pg and sg for a team. I am not thinking he could lead the team to the playoffs...... I am trying to tell you to pick on someone who deserves it..... llike Wilcox for all his talent and his lackluster effort on the defensive end. or Marko when he is in la la land. or Kittles for not helping the team whatsoever. You just aren't being real about a 2nd round pick. Other than Ariza, who even made a team out of camp? If he stinks, it will be shown; but 15 games doens't show much of anything - he has only shot 8 free throws, and 48 field goals (18 of them from three).
Lastly an A/T ratio of 3.29 after your first 15 games of your career is pretty damn good!!

That's the only comment you've made in this thread I agree with.
Chalmers was a terrible player to use a high 2nd round pick on.
He's injured right now, but I still say, if we wanted a PG, why not draft Antonio Burks or even Duhon?
Chalmers is a poor Eddie House, who I think we should bring back and release Chalmers to do so.
