Hi guys. I'll cut right to the chase.

Im a rocket fan,and I went to the game Saturday and watched the clippers destroy the rockets.

I have NO idea what Sterling will do,but Ive heard these rumors>

1.brand will sign in spurs

2.candi signs in denver or spurs

3.miller leaves

4.if all of the above leave,then odom leaves

5.miami(pat riley) loves odom and might have cap this summer,knicks and phily also interested

I have no idea what to beleive,but I know its wayy to early. Or is it? The trading deadline is 2months away,so its time to talk.

If sterling is smart,and he KNOWS for sure brand will leave(falk tells sterling brands leaving) doesnt it make sense to trade brand and get good,potentially great players that are cheap and can make up the salary? For instance,hypothetical like brown/haywood/dixon/hughes for brand. You get my point.

I want Odom. Ming is off limits. *If* you guys find out brand is leaving,that leaves you with wilcox(who I saw almost airball freethrows for god sakes) and quentin (sg) might leave to.

how bout if you could *replace* odom and brand (if they leave for sure) with some young inexpensive talent,to atleast hold face and say "well atleast we got something instead of letting brand and odom walk for nothing".

how bout a s&t glen rice(1 year left,then 9 million is cleared) + griffin(small contract) + mobley(signed for less than market value back in 2000 for 5 years)

Is there any way you would do this,or would it mean a *boycott* of fans of clipper fans going to games?

I know what your thinking. Your probably thinking any trade for odom would have to start with francis. Well,the reason I,along with all gm's and common sense,tells me thats unfair,is because the clipper management is at the mercy of odom's choices. If odom says he's walking,what leverage does your club have? None. When ever any player in any sport,on any team ,demands a trade,or has a contract up and is walking for nothing,that team loses all trade leverage. So in reality,if brand or odom was to ever threaten to walk,you wouldnt be able to recieve fair value back since teams know your *desperate* to get *something* in return to save face with fans.

So thats why I think francis for odom isnt fair for the rockets,if odom is leaving your team *anyways*. Hell,I even heard a rumor this summer that eric snow for odom,and the 76ERS are the dumb ones to turn it down. Francis is waaaaayy better than snow. The rockets have no cap space,so any trade would have to be a s&t with a expiring contract glen rice as filler.

quentin signs in who knows

Brand will be re-signed for sure, if not the clipper games will average about 1000 people.
