Chalmers has been given plenty of chances. He has sucked consistently. Worse than what brunson and marting have been doing? I think theyve been doing a pretty decent job. Brunson is 10th in the league in assist/TO ratio. and averaging 10 assists per 48 minutes.
Martin also has done decent in limited time. His three in the last game kept the clippers in it.
Dickau on the clippers would not get even close to the numbers that he gets on the depleted hornets. Heck, even his numbers that he gets there is not very exciting: 3 assists a game, and hes the only PG on the roster? 2 turnovers a game? Brunson though has been an assist machine on the clippers while he starts, and as i said martin brings the experience. Remember, if were talking long term, id pick dickau for his youth and exciting plays. But brunson and/or martin i think are a better fit into this system
