I think this is a terrible trade for the Clippers. This adresess none of the Clips needs. Swift is a power forward and a lazy, half decent one at that. And the Clippers don't really need another lottery pick this year. This draft is deep and I would rather have the 8th and 12th pick than the 4th because these picks could easily net the Clips any of these players: Wagner, Nene, Bogarcht, Amere, or many others. The 4th pick is only four up from the 8th. Is it really worth moving up two spots for sacrificing another lottery pick in a deep draft? The Grizz are getting a better deal when it comes to the picks so now lets look at the players. Sure LO is coming off a bad year, but come on, he is a great talent. He is one of the rare players that can play all five positions, and do whatever his team needs him to do. Be it Points, assists, rebounds, blocked shots, steals, or a good defensive stop. Stromile? He averaged about 11 points and 6 rebounds a game last year for a struggling Memphis team. Also he has a terrible work ethic and doesn't have the killer instinct all great players have. Lamar is obviously the better player of the two. And the idea that Stromile can play center? The guy is 6'9 which is undersized even for a power forward. This is a one sided trade obviously made by a Grizz fan.
