Great run by the Clippers. The game is all tied up as it gets close to crunch time. Go Clips!

Re: GT: Clippers vs. Timberwolves (3/27)
The Clippers got lucky that they had the chance to tie the game with a 3 ball but trying to tie the game the Clippers didn't execute at all and ended up missing. The Clippers had the chance to win the game, they came back from a double digit deficit but couldn't pull through in the end.

We really need to get a rookie from one of the NCAA teams that can shoot in the last minute or last second shots, or gets better as time goes down... having only Simmons to shoot at the last second just isn't enough.

Maggette was pretty bad today. Shot 4-16, and kept on shooting like he was hot. I didn't want him taking the last shot but he did and missed.

Re: GT: Clippers vs. Timberwolves (3/27)
Disipointing. I was very excited about this game. I didnt get to watch it cause of the easter sunday. But I was really hoping for a clipper W. Sounds like this again goes back to needing someone in the crunch time effort.
The turn overs are pretty horrific. 4 from brand? 2 from Livingston. 2 from Jaric. 2 from corey. Yikes..
Oh well, at least they didnt get blown out. But games like this sound like they prove more and more that corey simply isn't cutting it for the game winning efforts.

Re: GT: Clippers vs. Timberwolves (3/27)
The Clippers held KG in check for most of the game, but he came up big in the fourth quarter. Its hard to shut him down for a whole game. They are still fighting for tha last playoff spot.
Well, at least the Lakers kept their losing streak going.

Honestly I don't think the turnovers really hurt the Clippers this time. The Clippers had 9 in the 1st quarter and played better and were leading. Weird little twist.

I wish the Clippers would have pulled this game and I'm not just saying that as a Nuggets fan. How is Livingston looking? Is he showing enough flashes to make you feel good about his future?

Livingston has been a little tentative the last 2 games. I would like to see him drive to the basket a lot more. He still has some nice passes. Dunleavy really wants him to gain experience so he has been playing Livingston in crunch time a lot, which I can't complain.

Clippers miss opportunity

"We've done a good job of playing defense, being in the game," Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy said. "We need to find a way to finish them."

Despite Garnett's late burst, Minnesota couldn't put the game away. Bobby Simmons' three-pointer with 32.6 seconds left cut the deficit to 86-83, then Minnesota's Fred Hoiberg, a 90 percent free-throw shooter, missed a pair with 17 seconds left.

Asked how he defended Garnett, Brand said: "Just contest all the shots that he shoots."

Garnett had six points during a 10-0 run after the Clippers had rallied to tie the score, 68-68. But the Clippers answered with a 12-2 run, capped by Brand's jumper with 3:11 left that tied it, 80-80.
