Atta Boy, Bobby:

Congratulations and thanks for bringing more positive attention to the Clippers. He looked great in his suit and represents us well. (Good student of MJ, so he says.) With the MJ sheen, and the lack of daily media negotiations, I am so proud of Bobby that I would be devastated if we don't keep him, but will always support his career.

I just feel so good about this team: We are witnessing things that we have not witnessed in the past:

#1 NO negotiations in the media (although Jaric started ... he has mysteriously been quiet since, even his game and attitude seemed to improve for the last few games).

2 There is a positive buzz about the Clippers AND they did not even make it to the playoffs. People obviously appreciated the hard work of our guys throughout the season even with the obstacles of constant injury problems --- they NEVER gave up to use them as excuses --- just played ball.

3 The number of celebrities that actually came out to get a feel for the team before next year. (An indication, IMO, they may give their money to the Clippers for entertainment.)

4 The opportunity to watch the development of the "second coming of Magic Johnson" all over again (Shaun Livingston).

5 Rumors of other players actually wanting to come and play for the Clippers.

6 AGAIN, NO disgruntled players in the media.

These are all positive things to me, that I have never felt before. And, my promise to the team --- I refuse to bring up the injuries of this season again, for fear of jinxing the guys. That happened and it is in the pass. My comments from here on will not have the caveat, "IF there are no injuries ..."
