Which players will get baylor fired in the next couple years?
Korolev was a dunleavvy pick. however, i still say gerald green, possibly granger and wright will get baylor fired with their play, because sterling will realize, why didnt you get these guys and trade down to still get korloev?
however, what players that the clippers overlooked with their other pick will come back and bite them?
Chris Taft
Ukick
Ersan Ilyasova
Martynas Andriuskevicius
Mickaël Gelabale

He is the longest current GM. What 16 years? No one comes close to how long Baylor has been a GM. Time for change, he has never made a mid-season trade and with a rep like that won't get offers. Kandi should have gotten it done a while ago.

Lets keep in mind that it was rumored that the Clippers wanted a change up this off-season in management and Baylor was pointed out as possibly being that guy.

Well, after the deepest second round in history, sterling will be mad that he didnt pull the plug on elgin earlier.
Any chance at luring jerry west here? jerry hasnt exactly done that great in memphis, but if he can return to the glory days im all for it.
Or what about luring one of the san antonio guys away?

Re: Which players will get baylor fired in the next couple years?
Yeah, I think it's time to change it up. I mean in 16 years we had what? Two seasons where we actually won in the 40's.... Which isn't anything spectacular... But I mean come on....
I don't understand this pick. Although I think Green was smokescreen by many teams that were really never interested in him in the first place, there were MANY other picks worth taking over Korolev... I think Baylor has been watching to many Utah games with wishful thinking.. This isn't going to be the same Russian.
I knew mockdrafts predicted the Clippers would take him, but I just never believed that Baylor would be that stupid..........
Oh well, another year as a clipper fan.

Re: Which players will get baylor fired in the next couple years?
Remember when Baylor did pick the obvious choice? Miles... who was a lazy bum that still has a TON of potential but doesn't work as hard as he should, or even Wilcox, who also has a ton of potential, but doesn't work hard.
I think there is something about Korolev that Dunleavy saw (since he's the coach) that he got Baylor to pick him for. A lot of sites say that Korolev is an intense player, whether or not it's true has yet to be shown. All I'm saying is that when we were happy with the pick, (since 2000) it turned out the pick was not exactly a hungry high IQ, player who wanted to take their game to the next level.
I'm sure a lot of us liked Odom back in the day, but Odom is just a lot of undeveloped potential, would he really have become the franchise player to lead the Clippers, I highly doubt it. And Q, we liked him for the way he played, but his form of playing did not work with the Clippers, he likes taking 3 point shots, and well... Q was either on or off... 60% of the time he was off. This season he made what... 228 of 700 3 point attempts? On a team like the Suns that are all about letting the ball fly, it works, but on a team like the Clippers where the system is more about defense, shots like that are costly.
I just think that the only round the Clippers did plan for was the First round, the Second round they just picked whoever was available, bad I know. Either way, we've yet to see why Dunleavy picked this guy, we still don't know what they plan to do in Free Agency, and wasn't it Dunleavy that orchestrated the idea to pick Shaun Livingston?
I am not saying Korolev is good, I'm saying that it's obvious the Clipper took a risk by choosing him, and I'm also saying that the other players such as Green and Granger have flaws that could be potentially more harmful to the Clippers, Green being another "potentially lazy bum" and Granger with his back/knee problems.
And Antoine Wright played for Texas A&M... a team that well... isn't that great to be honest. Dunleavy picked Korolev for a reason, but what it is, and whether it will serve it's purpose, we still don't exactly know.
