Poll: what would you have done with the 12th pick?

If you were Elgin, and you had the same situation as he had yesterday at number 12, what would you have done?

Re: Poll: what would you have done with the 12th pick?

I was super high on taking Granger or Wright leading up to the draft, but I like most thought neither one would be there. But the fact that Green was there along with them opened up some interesting opportunities. Although young, I thought that would be a great, athletic talent to put on the wing with Livingston, C-Mag and the rest of the boys. Or, we could have had the option to trade down with him as bait.

Unfortunately....we all know what happened.

Give me Green and let him develop. Easy pick to me.

Green I think he can come in right now and give them some shooting. Plus they need some excitement off the bench.

Green all the way.. Why would you pick Korolev (a shooter) when you can get Green (a shooter with a 38 vert)?

Maybe because Korolev is a good athlete in his own right, can shoot from deep, but also brings better ball handling, playmaking, and defensive ability?

I think Green's upside is higher, but just based solely on physical ability. That doesn't mean that Korolev can't be a better player though. Green clearly had more issues than any of us knew about, or he would not have lasted as long as he did.

Re: Poll: what would you have done with the 12th pick?

From seeing Green is person, this guy is gonna be an all-star and make people pay for him slipping that far. Everyone is saying he is the steal of the draft. The Cletics thought there was something wrong until the Blazers tried to trade with them to get Green along with a whole bunch of teasm. everyone was shocked he fell that far. He is gonna be a player I dont know if Korolev can be as good as him but if he could at least a good player then that's alright.
