the SCSR said today that clippers have turned all our attention to signing SAR and are also looking to get Griffin or Marshall, all these signs point to Wilcox being gone, maybe try to get Wright from Jersey? or Granger from Indiana? maybe even Salim from Atlanta? maybe this was the plan all along, sign some big men who can play the 3 and 4 then trade Wilcox for a 2

Griffin would be an absolutely tremendous pick up. He should come considerably cheaper than Shareef and he has some incredible athletic ability superior to any available big man out there. I'd love to see Griffin come to LA. Though he was with a poor Minnesota team, he was a catalyst off the bench for the T-Wolves last year and played circles around Olowostiffy. Bring him in and let Rahim go to the Lakers.

The guy had some problems in his personal life, he's a young player who has made some poor decisions. He's not a bad person per se, just young and dumb at times. Makes sense though that McHale would keep him in Minnesota, hard to find a better mentor at the PF forward position than old Herman Munster.
