Kamen?
What the heck is this guy doing in the summer league?
He's dominating everybody!
Cool move going to Vegas and working on his game. Our guy (Melo) has been partying and crap and he should be in the summer league.

Re: Kamen?
Why is he in summer leauge? Why not? He still needs some work and a little summer league isn't going to hurt him. Summer league might actually increase his confidence for real NBA play. In summer leageu Kaman is the go to guy and is learning that he can do much more with his talent and hopefully this new knowledge carries over into the regular season.

Re: Kamen?
Kaman is not doing that great. The stats do not tell the whole story. If he was playing great, he really should have about 35 points and 20 rebounds at LEAST the minutes hes playing, and since he gets the ball every time down the floor, and hes got scrubs guarding him. Hes done well, but not GREAT. Too many mental mistakes.

Re: Kamen?
i like kaman, but yeah that 10 turnover game really scared me. i didn't see the game, but i imagine he's trying to dribble facing the basket like he tried last year.
he needs to work on getting in good low post position to either lay in or dunk, i imagine that's the main reason he's in the summer league.
7-footers not named kevin should never attempt dribbling in the low post, they'll get stripped 90% of the time, even against scrubs.

Kaman Is In The Summer League Cuz He Still Needs To Work On His Post Moves. He Had Some Monster Games Last Year But Then There Were Games When He Was Invisible. Kaman Is Right Handed But Shoots Better Left. Why The Hell Is That?

He's only surprising people who don't know much about b-ball. Everyone who knows b-ball knows this kid is a talented center who really, really, really needs to put things together.

His go to moves are to his left, he's a pretty ambidextrous guy for the most part.

Re: Kamen?
Dunleavy thinks that Kaman can be a good player because of his abilty to face up,s o I think that is the point of emphasis to get him better at that. He can score down low and especially with the lack of quality big men in the summer league. they want him more comfortable on the perimeter and this is a way to get him more confident
