"I think the Clippers' interest is in both areas," said Wells' agent, William Phillips. "I know that they have room under the [salary] cap to sign him, and I know that they've also talked to Memphis about a trade."

I hope the Clippers don't have to trade to get Wells, I rather see him get signed.

Yeah me too, but it ain't like they're trading away somebody big, they may just trade Wilcox & Chalmers.

No way should Q-Ross be involved with any trade; he's got a great work ethic and coming into the league the way he did makes him try even harder...i anticipate great things from Q this season...Wilcox and Chalmers going I can live with...

would anyone consider a trade with the Magic for Doug Christie for Chalmers and Wilcox IF the trade/signing of Bonzi fell thru...i read that Christie wants to be traded to a west coast team...seeing as he was named to the nba all defensive team for i think the last 4 years, i would think he could provide the lockdown defender in addition to Q plus he can add some scoring...if you're like me, i hated him as a king but you have to admire his defensive skills, something that will always keep us in the game.

I thought I heard that Christie could be bought out by the Magic so a trade might not be necessary.
