Clippers draft pick?
Where do you guys honestly think you will be drafting next year? You have a pretty talented team, but it seems like every year The Clippers have talent but they cant seem to get it together.
Would you say top 10 is fair?

Don't be comin on the Clippers forum and start hating. But actually it depends on what the T'Wolves do because we own their pick and the you guys (Nets) own ours which I promise you WILL NOT be a lottery pick.

Re: Clippers draft pick?
Im not trying to piss you guys off.
You always seem to have a good squad, but for some reason it never materailizes. (Isnt it something like your owner lets good players leave? Could be wrong)
Kaman, Livingston,Mobley ect you got talent, no denying

Ever since we've signed Mike Dunleavy as the coach (and seemingly has GM abilities as well), things have been very different in clipperland. Honestly, we are not as talented as the year we had maggette, brand, andre miller, quentin richardson, michael olowokandi and lamar odom
But this current clipper team is by far a much more cohesive unit. Gone are all the headcases (miller, odom, miles & olowokandi), and we are left with a all-nba citizenship team that has a great work ethic and last year seemed far more interested in winning games than padding stats. Even though the injury situation created a huge chance for team leaders like brand and maggette to just jack absolutely everything up and score.
Unfortunately, for the nets at least, the chances of getting a lottery pick are very low. And considering how well the clippers did last year in a devastating injury plagued season (40 wins). You can only expect at the very least, the same output and most likely quite a few more wins since we have better backups and are more seasoned as a team.... meaning the nets will probably get something around 16 to a lower 20s pick.
Basically, all you guys have to hope for is another huge injury season, and i can't really blame you. But even so, the clippers would still have a very slim chance of getting a high lottery pick as there are MANY teams that are much worse off. In my personal opinion, we're probably about equally as good in the regular season as Nets are, our perimeter is weaker of course, but i imagine we'll finish with roughly the same amount of wins.

Re: Clippers draft pick?
We have one of the best starting 5's in the west. There is no way we are in the lottery unless we have significant injuries. Nets fans should worry about the same thing. Kidd and VC have been injured a lot recently.

They looked fine to me last year
I didnt mean for the thread to seem as negative as it did, but I was curious bc I think we are only a 3rd seed this year, and we wont really be much of a challenge to any teams with size, and I was wondering about the chance to get a guy like Tiago Splitter in the draft.
